Sculpsure Body Contouring

The Sculpsure laser is designed and manufactured by Cynosure in America and took 12 years of research and development and many scientific papers to perfect it. It was the first laser in America to receive FDA approval for the treatment of stubborn fat; to achieve FDA approval a product has to be safe and it has to work. Sculpsure has been shown to reduce stubborn fat by up to 24% per treatment. It works by gently heating the fat cells causing their membrane to split. These fat cells die and are permanently destroyed and are then cleared from the body gradually through the lymphatic system. Sculpsure is safe for your skin and causes no downtime afterwards – you can go back to work, exercise and go to the gym immediately afterwards.

For best results, we recommend 2-3 treatments of each area, 6 weeks apart.  Our therapists and doctors will discuss a treatment plan with you prior to treatment as each treatment is individual to the client. We recommend treating to complete  – what we mean by that is designing a body contouring treatment package individual to you over 2-3 treatments.  Package prices are heavily discounted to save you money and to ensure we cover the most area to get you the best results.

Pellevé Radio-Frequency Skin Tightening

Our second system, the Pelleve, uses high frequency radio waves to tighten skin. This can be used on the face, neck and body and has fantastic results for example in providing a gentle neck lift or brow lift around the eyes. It works by causing the collagen of the skin to change shape and tighten, therefore tightening the skin.

It has an immediate tightening and volumising effect over the next 24 -48 hours so it is a fantastic treatment to have just before an event or social occasion to rejuvenate the skin.

After the initial 24-48 hours, the skin will relax a little again. For permanent, long-lasting results, we recommend 6 treatments 3-4 weeks apart. Again, we offer heavily discounted packages for this to allow you to achieve the best possible results in the most cost-effective way and we often combine the Pelleve treatment with other skin treatments.

Skin Cancer Checks

As we are a doctor-led clinic, we are of course always on the look out for skin cancers. If at any time during your consultation that your are worried about a skin spot or mole, or if our doctors notice something suspicious, you will be directed to have a full skin check in Core Medical, our GP surgery next door, where doctors routinely perform skin cancer checks.
